The Weight of Red

The Weight of Red explores a moment where the landscape moves beyond quiet observation and into intensity and abundance. Saturated reds press forward, carrying both vitality and tension, while layered textures suggest growth that is unruly, emotional, and impossible to ignore. The painting balances richness with restraint, allowing color to act as both subject and feeling. Here, red becomes more than a hue—it holds memory, excess, and presence, inviting the viewer to feel the land not as a backdrop, but as a force that insists on being seen.
