“The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings.” — Kakuzo Okakura.
"Embracing Change" materializes as a 20"x20" oil painting presented on an aluminum composite panel. This piece encapsulates the ever-shifting dynamics observed in the evening sky. The thoughtfully curated color palette includes serene blues and purples, subdued greens, and grays that contrast with a warm and subtle underpainting. Noteworthy for its inventive approach, the painting employs a diverse array of tools to manipulate the oil medium on a sleek surface, enhanced by an acrylic underpainting. This artistic technique imparts a distinctive texture, fostering a dynamic interplay that conveys a profound sense of depth and motion throughout the canvas.
The artwork conjures a feeling of seamless transitions between the sky and the landscape, creating a profound atmospheric quality. The composition beckons us to navigate and welcome the inevitable changes.
